Ausgehend von einem suggestiven Ausstellungstitel unternimmt Wolfgang Reichmann in seiner Werkschau Printing by Numbers im Foto-Raum die Zeitreise, Werkgruppen der frühen 90er Jahre seinen neuesten Arbeiten gegenüber zu stellen. Der offenkundige Voyeurismus im Blick durch den Sucher einer Kamera – hier in den extremen Vergrößerungen von Bildausschnitten verdoppelt – frägt nicht nur ein weiteres Mal nach dem Verhältnis von Realität und Bild, nach der Verbindung zwischen Distanz und Fragment, sondern diesmal genau nach der Auflösung des Rätsels der Sphinx.
